An architecture company under AECOM, Davis Langdon, will be working on Google’s new headquarters in London as cost consultants and company agents. The new HQ is located in King’s Cross and will be a one million square foot building. London-based architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM) designed the center on a 2.4 acre plot at the 67 King’s Cross Development. The massive project will begin construction later this year and be completed in 2016. It will be directly to the north of King’s Cross station and be between 7 to 11 storeys high. The bottom floor of the building will house retail stores and restaurants, while the top floors will contain space for Google’s employees, incorporating “sustainable design concepts and flexible working environment for Google’s employees”.
