Architect and Frank Lloyd Wright fanatic Paolo Bulletti wants to buy Wright’s 1914 Bachman Wilson House in Millstone, New Jersey to preserve it and move it to Italy. He wants to “save” the house by moving it to a safer area, the current owners are frequently afraid the house will one day be ruined because of flooding from the nearby Millstone River. The Bachman Wilson House is one of Wright’s Usonian low-cost housing development solutions. This scheme to dismantle and move the home would cost about 1.5 million, not including the price of rebuilding it once in its new location.
