Sociologists, psychologists, and urban planners have started working together in recent years to create architectural solutions for the ever-growing population of seniors (age 55 and over) in America. They claim that “designing for seniors means designing for everyone) as we all will eventually be in this age bracket. The proposals take into consideration making new structures more accessible and healthy, so as the population ages, the buildings grow with them.
