Antonini + Darmon Architectes have designed a “hard-drive” building that houses the memory of the network media libraries Plaine Commune. The firm focused on form, functionality and sustainability in their plan. The location allows the building access to unobstructed park views. To create a modern building within this natural setting, the structure is entirely wooden in its façade. The ground floor organizes reception, waste disposal, logistics, locker rooms, and shuttles. On the second level are the management and administration offices and training areas. The workspaces have a consistent flow to maintain positive workflow and circulation throughout the building.
