Hugh Hardy discusses the restoration of Radio City Music Hall and The Brooklyn Academy of Music Harvey Theater in this video. Hardy says that “new and old are and intrinsic part of the human condition”, and also a part of architecture. Both Radio City and the Harvey Theater have been restored, but he contrasts the two transformations, describing Radio City’s as going back to the original building, while Harvey Theater represents a layering of architecture and activity.
