Datacenter Cabinets By: Teneo Tech
The Amsterdam Science Park in The Netherlands is home to the datacenter, known as AM3. Designed by Benthem Crouwel Architects, the two building complex will be one of the leading network locations in Europe. The office and data center will be extremely sustainable, using heat that the data machines proactively. The LEED certified building has an Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (ATES) under the ground so that little to no mechanical cooling is needed. The extra heat is used to heat the surrounding buildings. The center will also have a grass sedum covered green roof that acts as a water buyer and adds an additional insulation layer to the building.
