Park redevelopment is sweeping major cities like New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Downtown Los Angeles, where revitalization efforts are strong, may see an even more impactful change in the near future. Pershing Square, labeled an “atrocity”, has huge potential for greatness.

 

After the Occupy LA movement headquartered their forces here, and upset many local vendors and businesses, the city decided to put together a task force to brainstorm the best usage for the park. The 14th District of LA stated that at least $700,000 will be provided by Anschultz Entertainment Group to spark this project.
