Scheduled for completion in 2017, Hong Kong’s new museum for visual culture will be designed by Herzog & de Meuron and TFP Farrells. The building will be 60,000 square meters and located on the edge of  Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour, and will be one of the first projects of its kind to be completed in its district.

The museum is designed to include an underground tunnel that will connects it directly to the Airport Express to create a unique exhibition space. The museum will also include an resource center, an educational facility, an auditorium, interior courtyards, bars, restaurants, and more.
