Grimshaw, a London architecture firm, has released their masterplan for the home of the annual tennis tournament. The masterplan proposes to create three new grass courts to the edge of the site and to add a retractable roof to No. 1 court that would allow for play in all weather conditions.
Grant associates, a landscape architecture firm, has also provided a landscape framework for the plan which will “include enhanced landscape walkways and promenades…”
Over the next ten to twenty years, these plans will be used as a framework for re-developing t home of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
